deeply deeply i searched
for something to strive upon
but sadly did i found it
dry and empty.
sure i was
that it was full
suddenly it dried
leaving me fret.
knowing its better
this way.
still yearning
for a little more
some thirst never die
the more u drink the more u need

and especially when you say all emotions leave you dry...it looks like you are not actually talking about all emotions but something else
the phrases all emotions especially take away from the reader the independence of thought
I loved all the other paras except that
bcs of the last sentences
it takes me to a high and drops it completely
and also..the sentence 'knowing its better this way' is a precaution on the part of the writer
a poet shd have liberty of mind...not precaution of her own thoughts intermingled with it
it takes away the beauty of the thoughts
you havent expressed your free thought...i feel
bcs the element of precaution is the fear of interpretation!
